   And why, I wonder, the “Warriors” on the socks? Did they borrow them from elsewhere? (The socks or the cheerleaders?)

   My 12yr nephew was calling me this afternoon, begging me to take him to a Holyoke Sox game. I now think I know why.

   Damn. I wish I went to the game. I will go to future ones. One the one hand, having hot girls prancing around in revealing outfits further dismisses important contributions women make to the world by suggesting that such prancing is a women’s greatest contribution. On the other hand, there are hot girls prancing around in revealing outfits! That and ice cream and hot dogs and young men grasping long bats and balls and… wait, I’m confused… where are my frat brothers? I’m lost without them.

   I think they’re the dance team for a football team called the warriors. Why they stuck with these uniforms, I’m not so sure. They could have easily have put on a sox t-shirt and shorts and done their routines. Referee outfits just don’t make sense.
