I fell in love with this tank top at American Eagle. Unfortunately, due to my girls, it just didn’t fit the way I would have liked it to.
Oh but I love it so.
Coming soon to this blog… a real honest to good update on my life.

It’s here.
I discovered I can still read music.
I can’t keep time,
but the keys sound
exactly as I remembered.

things are finally coming together in the house, although they still have a long way to go. the spare room is painted green now, after two coats of paint and some touch-ups. The trim needs to be done, but it won’t be in done in time for my dad to come. At least I am not going to spend my time and energy doing the trim just yet. I want to get that room back together for now, make it cozy. And it’s such an improvement over what it was before. on top of that I cleaned off the front of the emo is awesome door. All the stickers were chiseled, scrubbed or sanded off last night.

Listen up ladies. If you are around Saturday night, ask me to send you an invite to my Arbonne party. I will also have just a couple of handmade handbags for sale, too. Not many. Just what I happen to have in stock - I think only 4 total.

Ah, it’s May and that means tag sales - or as I used to call them in my former life as a Pennsylvanian: "garage sales."
We’re going to be looking for patio furniture. I’m on a mission to find chairs, love seats, ottomans, whatever might be worth the pricetag. I can’t wait and the reason is because I have a wicked awesome - or as I might have said back home: "a simply awesome" - balcony with a fantastic view of the neighborhood.
Ever since the snow melted and things have started turning green, I’ve discovered that most of my neighbors have lush green lawns, while mine is sad and brown and dead. So, I’ve been raking back there with plans to spread some pest killer stuff - Boyle told me I probably have grubs - and then later plant some grass seeds and see what happens.
The front lawn is a much happier story, except that having actual grass means that the lawnmower has to come out soon. Another good, happy thing is that I think there is a rosebush in the front. I mean, that’s what it looks like, anyway! And two tulips have come up.
Oh and did I tell you I’m painting a room?
Oh homeownering.
