My previous post reminded me that I love mixed metaphors. I also love mixed metaphors that are stuck inside extended metaphors. Nothing better, my friends. Nothing better.

It’s getting chilly in here

There were some ayofflays here recently at the empjobtay. This has created enormous tension in my little office. If this place didn’t pay me so much, I’d be gone by the end of the month.

It was a sort of paradise for a while at the temp job - the boss gave me cool projects and the asst dir made me do fun stretches - but since the axe fell last week, it is way more like an icy arctic outpost.

Just to drive the point home, the A/C is cranked. I’ve got goosebumps.

Oh well, at least I can still blog.
